For the past few weeks, he's been saying that he wanted a "big yellow Transformer" for his birthday. I have no idea where he got that. He got a little transformer from McDonald's a while back, and he loves playing with that. I sent Eric on the hunt for the yellow one that Dane wanted, and he found it. Dane was very excited when he got it! It's a little complex for him at the moment, so Eric and I end up "transforming" it for him, but I'm sure he'll get it in no time.
He also got a Hot Wheels Big Wheel. I saw in a Target ad that they had the old school Big Wheels, so I sent Eric to get one. I have such good memories of those..tying my brother's Big Wheel to our Powder Puff's and racing around the neighborhood. Anyway, they didn't have any, so Eric got the Hot Wheels version, which is basically the same, except this one has some cool graphic stickers (which Abel will probably try to tear off in the next couple of weeks). Dane probably likes this one better anyway, since he is so into his Hot Wheels cars right now. I didn't get any pictures of him on it yet, but I'm sure I will soon. He now has a brand new driveway to ride it in!
He blew out all the candles himself!
Abel was trying to get up or down, I don't remember which. He is such a monkey that he is constantly hanging or climbing on something.
Kevin, Cami, and Bridget came over and we had Mexican food for dinner and then some yummy cake!
