Thanksgiving Pictures - My Camera Works!!!

Well, I got my camera working, so I was able to upload the photos from Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time, and the food everyone brought was delicious!!

Here is Grandma Joyce getting a smile out of Dane - not hard to do....
Eric, Dane, and his puppet.

Aunt Grace and Teresa

Tammy (we thought she wasn't going to be home from college at Clemson U - she surprised us!) and Grandpa George.

Brianna, Tracy, and Dad.

Abel with his puppet (he's got to do everything his brother does - even naughty things).

The hostesses with the mostest.

Self portrait - not bad!

Eric perusing the ads for the Christmas presents he's going to buy ME.....or maybe he's trying to find something for me to buy HIM...

Maddox and Nikki.

Maverick and Nana.

Maverick enjoying some dessert. I think that was his second brownie (his Mom said no, but Aunt Cassy said yes....I won).

And she didn't even have turkey!!! Well, not at our house....She was gearing up for the 4am sales! Eric decorated her with stuffed animals...

Jorgensen's Pizzeria - Take 2

The Benn's were over a few weeks ago, and we made pizzas (a favorite over here). Mav had to help Abel "even his cheese".

Here are Maddox and Dane hard at work. Maddox had to put every topping on his pizza, even though he only likes cheese....we had to peel it all off after it got out of the oven.

Everyone patiently waiting for their pizzas - luckily they only took 10 minutes!
Ok, now they aren't as patient!!!

Barbershop Triplets...

We finally did it - we took the boys to get their first haircuts...

I have always cut their hair myself, and think I did a pretty good job. Dane's hair is so thick that it was getting to hard to cut and shape myself, especially if he didn't sit still. My Dad has been asking for years when we were going to take them. He would always ask the boys if he could take them to the barber. From the time Dane could talk, he was saying "No haircut, Poppy". Poppy was the first person we called after we left!
Abel wasn't too sure about it at first, but after he got in the chair, he did good. He didn't care for the girl after she sprayed water in this hair.

Dane did really well too. We let Eric go first, so the boys could see him getting his cut.

Here they are after their haircuts. They each got a balloon afterwards. And we even took them to get an ice cream sundae because they were so good.

Long time, no post..

I have been TERRIBLE about posting lately....it has been kind of busy around here, and I know that this month will be even crazier, so I apologize in advance if I am delinquent about posting...

We had Thanksgiving here this year, and it went really well. I have some really cute pictures on my camera, but I just started having problems with it. Not sure if it is the camera or the computer software. Anyway, I can't seem to get them transferred to the computer so I can't post them.

Dinner turned out great (I think), and with all the food everyone else brought, we had a feast!

Our Pinnacle Pad

Finally, I'm getting some pictures of the house on here. I took them when I had all four boys for the night. How come I can get my house cleaner with four???

This is the upstairs family room. The stairs in the back lead to the front door. There is a beautiful view of Pine Lake from the windows on the left. I couldn't seem to get all the boys out of the way!!
This the the kitchen - I was standing in the family room. It has a very open floor plan, which we really like.
This the the view from the kitchen to the dining room.
And this is the view from the kitchen to the family room. All the boys are lined up watching a movie...

This is Dane and Abel's bedroom.
And a view from the other side of the room.
This is the view from the corner of our bedroom. We have an entrance to the bathroom from our room, and there is one coming in from the hallway as well. The next picture is the view into our bedroom. We plan to get a new bedroom set in the winter, so if anyone is interesed in what we have, let us know. Hold on to your pants...only one person can have it. I don't want everyone calling me at once.

This is the upstairs bathroom.
A view from the kitchen down to the front door.

This is the trashed 2nd bedroom downstairs. It really is just boxes of my decorations, that I won't put up until we paint. I don't even know why I put a picture of it on here.

This is the office.

And this is our small storage room/laundry room/Reesie's room. I love, love, LOVE my new washer and dryer! It almost makes laundry time fun.

This is the family room downstairs. I'm actually standing in the middle of the room looking toward the stairs that go to the front door.

And here's the 2nd family room!
I'm really starting to get tired of all the white on the walls. I have made some decisions on colors, but we probably won't paint until after the holidays. I will post some pictures as we get each room done.
We are so enjoying this house - hope you liked the pictures!

Jorgensen's Pizzeria

The kids and I made homemade pizza the other night (Daddy's favorite). They really enjoyed helping me, and Abel loved being on the counter, as usual. And tasting all the toppings... Here he is after he licked the spoon from the dough...he takes after his mom!
Such concentration on Dane's face!

They worked together pretty well, but Abel didn't want his own pizza to top - he wanted to do the one that Dane was working on! Big surprise...

And here they are showing me their pepperoni!

All Done - Bon Appetit!

Abel Heinz...the stubborn German...

The last two nights, we have had an hour long battle with Abel. He wants his snack after dinner, but refuses to eat some fruit. He has always been so good about eating fruit, so this stubborn behavior came as a surprise (we have seen his stubborn behavior elsewhere...). Eric wasn't home for dinner tonight, and I so badly wanted to cave in. But after a few minutes, it becomes more than just eating the last few oranges....it's about who can hold out the longest. I wasn't going to let him win. He screamed, cried, stomped his feet, threw himself down....and then finally decided to eat the last orange after an hour. I then asked him if he wanted a snack, to which he replied, "NO". It was a very long hour. After the performance he gave, he deserved some to replenish his energy. But, he just went about playing like nothing had happened.

Stubborn German. But, oh so cute.
